Competing against big brands across FMCG, PSUs, Tech, Travel and Tourism, Automobiles, and Not for Profits, Pratigya Campaign won two out of three awards at IPRCAA, the oldest Communications and Advocacy awards in India. Pratigya Campaign bagged Bronze for Best Advocacy Campaign and Silver in Thought Leadership Merits.

Championing inclusivity in healthcare!
With #ChoiceIsPower being our leading campaign for May, we celebrated International Day of Action for Women's Health with a tweetathon in collaboration with our coalition partners - DASRA, CJLS and Love Matters India. We also took this opportunity to talk about the need for reproductive and sexual health to be inclusive, what it would mean for adolescents to have access, and the sustainable development goals by the United Nations, that reiterate the message that reproductive and sexual health is an integral part of achieving Universal Health Coverage.

The launch was graced by Hon'ble Justice Gita Mittal, the chief guest, who also delivered a speech on the subject.

The Centre for Reproductive Rights shared how access to contraceptive and abortion pills falls under basic health rights for women, and yet they are one of the hardest medicines to currently procure in the United States. While listing out the barriers women face to accessing these medicines without prescription, they launched their campaign #FreeThePill.

Protecting identities
In a recent turn of events, the Delhi High Court directed the Station House Officer (SHO) concerned of the Delhi Police to make sure that neither the identity of the minor seeking abortion nor that of her family be revealed while carrying out the investigation. The High Court also allowed the abortion on the grounds of her being a minor and the gestation period being well under the rules laid out in the MTP Act.

Coastal Bangladesh's low-lying river delta isn't enough to stave off rising sea levels. This has been leading to over exposure to salt for the women in the region, affecting their reproductive health in more ways than one.
