We are Pratigya Campaign for Gender Equality and
Safe Abortion, a network of 84 individuals and
organisations that have been working at the national
and state level on issues of women’s empowerment and
women’s access to healthcare services. We focus on
finding common ground that simultaneously addresses
the serious issue of gender biased sex selection
while protecting women’s right to access safe
abortion. In our first edition, we give you an
essence of our areas of work, efforts and its
impact.
